Small challenges, clear rules

What are online
brain games?

Short activities with one clear task: recall a picture, spot a pattern, find a word or work out a number. Some take a minute; others leave room to think.

Every game here has its own rules, examples and scoring. Pick what feels interesting, try an approach and compare your own results.

Before you play

A few things to know.

Try Memory Match if you prefer an untimed board you can finish, or Number Memory for a short challenge that grows after every correct answer. If you enjoy numbers without memorising them, Mental Math starts with a ready-to-answer question.

Yes. All 28 games can be played directly in your browser, with no subscription, sign-up or app download. You can restart a round as often as you like. JavaScript needs to be enabled for the game controls.

Games support touch and mouse input. You can also use Tab to move between buttons and Enter or Space to select them. Number Memory and Mental Math use an answer field. Color Word relies on seeing differences between ink colors; try a number or shape game if that is not comfortable for you.

No. The results describe performance in a particular game session. They do not provide an IQ, brain age, diagnosis or standardized cognitive assessment. A better score can reflect familiarity with a game, and does not by itself establish an improvement in everyday abilities.

Completed runs save a personal best and recent result in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded, shared publicly or synced to another device. My Progress lets you review or clear them; clearing browser data removes them too.

Start with one round and see how it feels. The time shown on a game card is an estimate, not a requirement. A five-minute mix can include a memory round, a focus game and a reaction test, but you can stop at any point.
